The 5-Step Conversion
Here’s everything you need to run a wide 21 × 5.5 front — or let us handle it all with a complete kit.
1. Need a Wheel
Make sure you want the WIDE 21 × 5.5 wheel — not the standard-width 21 × 3.75 size. We’ll help you pick the right one for your build.
2. Raked Triple Trees
The 21 × 5.5 is so wide that, because the tire is rounded, it sits taller than a standard 21-inch wheel and tire. To fit it, you need triple trees to rake your bike out and make up the difference. We offer the highest-quality trees at a great price — with a wobble-free guarantee!
3. Get a Wide Fender
Your stock fender won’t work — it’s way too narrow. Let’s put on a wide fender so we can get it right!
4. Custom Fork Legs
Dramatically improve the look of your build with custom lower fork legs. The stock ones are cheap cast aluminum — our aftermarket legs look awesome on your bike (though they’re not required).
5. Brake Rotors
Transfer your stock rotors to the new wheel, or purchase new matching rotors — your choice. Run dual disc like your Harley Touring comes with, or read up on a single-disc conversion.
